NEW COLD STORE FOR FRIGOLANDA IN POLAND

Frigolanda Cold Logistics has opened a refrigerated warehouse in the Polish city of Radom. This state-of-the-art facility (see pictures in header) has a mobile racking system and a capacity of 41.000m³ (9.800 pallet positions) for the storage of deep frozen products. Further, it offers a wide range of services like container handling, transhipment, order picking, (re)packaging, labeling, and distribution. The Radom facility was designed by Dutch cold store specialist Gerrit Vroege, who is also partner  in ColdStoreDesign.com. In the picture Vroege (2nd from left) with Frigolanda management.

MODERN TRENDS IN COLD SUPPLY CHAIN
Korea
ColdStoreDesign-specialist Theo van Sambeeck recently spoke at the "Modern Trends in Cold Supply Chain" seminar in Seoul, South Korea last month. The event was an initiative of Schaefer Systems International and Korea Logistics News. Van Sambeeck talked about Global Trends, International Benchmarks, and Modern Refrigerated Warehousing.
